If you read Consumer Reports, then you know about this, the Palm Pre is one of the best products on their list. And if you remember, back on October the staff at PCWorld gave 14th place to the Pre on “PC World Top 100″ best products of the year.

Consumer Reports recently released their annual top products list, which had 398 items. On the smartphone section of said list we can see – check image above – a familiar face, our beloved black pebble; the Palm Pre. Is a little hard to see but, if you pay attention to the image, you can see the Pre was given a score of 67. Not bad considering the first place had a 73.

The low score was taken by the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 on Sprint, with a 59. That puts the Palm Pre right in the middle, which by the way, has the old sticker price of $200. If they had use the newer price, the Pre could have gained some extra points. We also have to remember that its a new phone with a new platform, against well footed adversaries. So this shows you that the new Palm, with webOS is here to stay.
