So we know the Palm Pre is already in Mexico, Canada and other countries in Europe. Apparently, is now time for the Pre to be sold by another carrier here in the US. Verizon appears to be getting ready to bring some webOS love to its subscribers.

We also know a Palm Pixi cleared the FCC, and apparently is heading to Verizon with WiFi on board. And now there are news – or rumors, depending on how you want to see it – that Verizon has begun to train its employees on Palm and webOS. Rumors have it that as soon as Sprint’s exclusivity with Palm ends, Verizon will be getting both webOS phones; the Palm Pre and Pixi.
One of PhoneArena’s trusted tipsters has sent them a document that makes everyone hope that the rumors about Verizon getting the two webOS devices are actually true. Apparently, Verizon has a 20-minute long, online course that re-introduces Palm and their new webOS platform to its personnel. The starting date was December 15th, and will be going until January 4th 2010.
