Okay, so this one is kind of funny, or ridiculous, depending on who you ask. As you probably know, AT&T recently challenged Verizon on their latest commercials touting a bigger map coverage of the US. And now, Verizon turns around against Sprint. Apparently, Verizon Wireless didn’t take lightly the Now Network commercials from Sprint.

In those commercials, which are darn good and many of us like them so much, Sprint claims to be America’s Most Dependable 3G Network. So Verizon went to the Council of Better Business Bureau to complain. To many of us this looks like a ridiculous move on Verizon’s part, but hey. I really love the Sprint coverage I get on my Palm Pre wherever I go, so this isn’t too big of a deal, but there are others who don’t get that same good coverage.
Now, as much as I like those commercials, and love my Pre and the prices at Sprint, The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureau agreed with Verizon and wants Sprint to stop the “most dependable” claim on their commercials. Yup, loco if you ask me. Anyway, Sprint says they will appeal to the National Advertising Review Board and will stand by its claims.
Here’s one of the best of those commercials, enjoy!
