There are still some Palm Pre reviews trickling onto the Internet. It’s common for that sort of thing to happen as publications have a hard time getting the device or some reviews take longer than others to complete.

The Washington Post has put up its Pre review already and is back with some post review thoughts on the device. One of the things the reviewer has come to like is the easy, one tap update capability for software and applications.
A remaining complaint is that the app catalog is still sparsely populated. At this point, I have to wonder if the problem is that Palm is having a hard time wooing developers from developing for the iPhone and Android devices to write apps for the Pre. The reviewer also points out that rumblings are being heard that Palm may be working on a GSM version of the Pre that could hit AT&T and T-Mobile. Palm would be crazy to keep the Pre locked to Sprint for too long.
