Chances are by now you are too familiar with the little war between Apple and Palm. Palm recently file a complaint with the USB Implementers Forum – an industry group established by technology companies that developed the technology that links computers to other electronic devices – about the restrictions impose by Apple to iTunes.
Yesterday many sites – starting with BGR – were talking about the new iTunes 9, and the part most people were noticing was that it’ll integrate social media like Facebook. But perhaps the most important news are that, if this thing is true, there will be third party device support. Now how cool is that, for all you iTuners out there.
If you can scrutinize the image above, you’ll notice that it reads; Media Player Name: Samsung YH-J70JL Black. And yes, all those screenshots could be a hoax, but then again, they might be genuine. I guess it makes “business sense” for iTunes to support non-Apple devices.
Anyway, more likely we’ll find out in September 9th at Apple’s keynote.
