We know the Palm Pre has been a hit for Sprint, here in the US. And that our neighbors up north, as well as the ones in Mexico like the first webOS device from Palm. How about the people in the UK, will they receive the Pre as we did back in June. According to a study by TNS, it will.

Not only it will, but it appears it will have a higher demand than the iPhone did back in the day. This study found that, from 1,000 UK residents polled, about 26 percent of them say they will or probably will buy a Palm Pre for its October 16th UK launch. In comparison, only 17 percent planned to get an iPhone back on 2007.
Now, when they asked existing O2 customers, the figures are even more impressive, with 27% looking to buy the Palm Pre. When only 17% wanted the iPhone before its launch. And 32 percent of those in other UK carriers said that they would be willing to switch to O2 to get the Pre.
