Most of us have ventured over to YouTube on more than one occasion to watch videos of people doing stupid things or music videos. On some smartphones, the YouTube experience is less than ideal and Google is trying to change that.

YouTube has updated its website for smartphones to let users log into their accounts, view favorite videos, and share new videos. The new update now works with most smartphones currently on the market.
According to YouTube the new versions of the webpage was optimized specifically to work with the iPhone, G1, and the Palm Pre. I wonder if that means the videos will be higher quality and stutter less when played over older non-3G connections.
